Balaclava LITE

Description

Designed for year round use, Balaclava LITE offers superior light-weight protection throughout all seasons. The flat-knit blend of Merino wool and synthetics effectively regulates temperature around the head and neck as sweat and moisture are naturally wicked away from the body during mild to cold climates. The flatlock seams prevent chafing so the balaclava can be used under a helmet. So suit up, head out, and tackle your adventure!

Woolpower LITE is our thinnest fabric. It is a tighter 1.1-rib knitwear material, which means it doesn’t insulate in the same way as our Ullfrotté Original fabric, but creates a fabric that is cooler even though LITE contains more wool.  Woolpower LITE works best worn directly against the body as a base layer, even if the weather is a little warmer the wool helps to cool down the body.
